Six Miniature Trout carved by the
World`s Greatest Fish Carvers

Six World Champion fish carvers from throughout North America and from as far away as the Netherlands have banded together in a joint venture to give a little back to the fish that they enjoy fishing for and carving as well.

All being avid fisherman they a passionate about fish and they express that passion through the art of fish carving. This international group of champions has each volunteered to carve a four- inch miniature trout to be a part of a one-of-a-kind collection with each representing one of the common trout species in North America.

Colorado Cutthroat Trout - by Cyril Smith of Woodland Park, Colorado

Each Champion has donated a carved miniature trout to be part of a one-of-a-kind collection that was auctioned off on eBay Sept. 16, 2008. 100% of the proceeds from this sale were used to help fund a habitat restoration project in the mountains of Montana where a threatened population of wild Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout will benefit.

All six of the participants of the Champions Trout Collection would like to give a hearty THANK- YOU all those that supported this endeavor in various ways including the generous support from the Badger Airbrush Company. Most of all, we say thanks to the fortunate bidder who received the Collection and has directly benefited some Wild Trout in Montana.
